The Investec Guernsey Men’s 1st XI is through to the 4th Round of the Harrod’s Trophy after beating Gore Court on Sunday 18th November.
They did this despite a number of key players missing, most noteably Andy Whalley due to injury and also Island Captain Damien Wallen. This did however, allow a few of the youngsters to play who did an admirable job.
The team beat a side currently second in the Southern League Premier Division 2. Their next opponent’s are Banbury Hockey Club who currently top Premier Divsion 2. This fixture (away) will be played on 10th February.
